DISCOVER AND UNPACK THE POTENTIAL OF NATURE
VISION
“Cultivating Abundant Life”
MISSION
The mission of LMLC is to discover and unpack the potential of what nature can produce to achieve an abundant life. God’s creation and human being is packed with numerous potential. God created the creation and saw that it was good. God then created the human being in his image. The symbiotic relationships between the nature and human being is threatened because of human insatiability creating immense imbalances and destructions resulting in climate change and biodiversity loss. The LMLC strives to empower displaced and marginalized farmers, rural community leaders including religious leaders, differently abled-person, senior citizen, self-help groups, women, unemployed youth and seminary students with basic knowledge of nature’s potential and develop relevant skillsets needed to create an abundant life. The abundant life cannot be attained if human treat the nature as an object but understand and conform to the nature’s creativity and rejuvenation.
The LMLC is inspired by the teaching of the Gospel. However, our work is not limited only to Christian but people of all faith and non-faith living in Nagaland and adjoining states of North East India. The Center will provide seminars, panel discussions, workshops and conferences that would include both hands on as well as knowledge-based training and develop skill sets needed for healthy farming, compost making, animal husbandry, micro businesses and food preservation. The Center will provide several platforms to share personal struggles and success story by conducting regular cohort groups. It will also have for lifelong learning school for senior citizen to disseminate healthy lifestyle and nutrition. The center will also provide career guidance for unemployed youth and counselling. LMLC also create a collaborative platform to sell the products the farmer harvests in the market.
